The silversmith that created your unique piece is Gerardo

The experienced Gerardo looks back at an emotional life: ups and downs as well as the life at places all over the world have influenced him and are part of his impressive life experience. In the art of silversmithing he masters many different styles of the craft, e.g. the “cera perdida”-technique. This one is used the most in his workplace, he leads together with his daughter Mori. Also his other daughter Kitzia helps wherever she can.

Care label:

pakilia jewelry is uncoated and shines in real silver glance. Silver reacts with sulfurous compounds which is the reason it can get a little darker over time. Best practice is to store the pieces in a dark and safe spot and to take them off if you do sports or have contact with water for a longer amount of time. For cleaning we recommend a regular polish with a cleaning cloth, which is purchasable at pakilia as well.

The two brothers Martin and Noe Velázquez took over their fathers business. Martín, who worked formerly as a teacher, is responsible for the selling and Noe crafts the pieces in their workshop. They specialized in the “corrugado”-technique which originated in Taxco.
