The fine earrings "Alita", translated "little wing", consist of five curved silver strips, which are opened to one side. The pieces are made of high quality sterling silver 0.925 and guarantees nickel free. All the long earrings by Gloria Fuentes are made in elaborate handwork. As same as other workshops, Gloria works with her family in the silver production business. Her cousin Adrián is the one in charged of producing the earrings that represent them the most. Always long and light weight earrings. Her cousin Adrian has a silver wire to glow until the silver is smooth and then taps it with the hammer until the parts have the desired shape. This technique creates earrings made of filigree silver strips in the different shapes and sizes that Gloria sells on the weekly market in Taxco.
