These timeless pieces are crafted in loving handwork by the experienced Luz Amalia in the local workshop with the help of Pancho the main craftsman in the workshop .Luz is know as the "pearl lady", because most of her work is made with freshwater pearl. Like most of the artisans, Luz produces and sells her own product at the local market every weekend in Taxco. Thanks to her work, her three sons are living at the capital for their studies. Mostly every weekend they go back to Taxco to help out their parents. In pakilia our primary goal is to give fair value to the work of artisans. The passion and love that each piece has is invaluable, but without a doubt we seek that each one of these pieces reaches the right person, who will give, the value it piece deserves. All our ear studs come with surgical steel earring backs and are therefore particularly easy to use and resistant to allergies.
